The Brashear baseball team also faced Meadville Friday night. The Tigers gave up a run in the top of the 1st, but scored two of their own in the bottom of the inning for a 2-1 lead. Meadville tied the game 2-2 in the 3rd, but Brashear battled back to run their lead back to 5-2. Brashear never trailed from that point on, scoring 4 in the 4th and 2 in the 6th for an 11-4 victory. Zane Sykes had a home run, a double, and 2 singles for Brashear, Austin Peterson had 3 singles, John Gerhold had a double and a single, Colton Sayre had 2 singles, and Quin Allen, Wyatt Reeves, Levi Blankenship, and Garrett Housman also had hits. Housman got the start for Brashear striking out 4 with Sykes pitching in relief and striking out 9.
